Table of Effective dates of Revisions to Domestic Relations Law §§ 236, 237, and 240
          The Maintenance, Child Support and Counsel Fee provisions of the Domestic Relations Law have been amended numerous times since the statutes were enacted, the last amendment being on November 11, 2020. Different versions of Domestic Relations Law §§ 236, 237, and 240 apply in matrimonial actions depending upon the date of the commencement of an action.
